BATTLE OF THE BANDS - SEPTEMBER 19TH

Fifteen local Newtown Schools come together to perform & compete for the grand title.

One stage will host the performers throughout the day whilst the audience is entertained by a multitude of interactive activities, including circus street performers AND:

May St Gallery - Sydney Park Artist Trail:

A fun day out in Sydney Park, watching May Street Studio Artist’s and their unique skill of painting the surrounds.

Trail though the park then take part in the adults or children’s workshops. Paint your own masterpiece. Under guidance from artists you will be given the chance to try what it feels like to put paint to canvas for Charity.

 

Your Big Backyard is a series of community based events taking place in beautiful Sydney Park. The park is a fantastic space in St Peters, that has been transformed from a tip and old brickworks to a community hub of the inner west, the largest off leash dog park in Sydney, a great new kids playground; it's your big backyard! We're all about getting people involved, whether it be in music, art, sports, or helping the environment. So watch this space for more details and images coming soon about the events we have organised for The Sydney Fringe!
